The candle of hope

There's a candle in the window
Do you see it's light
Beckoning you to come in
On this cold, frigid night
Get shelter from the storm
On this Christmas Eve
The homeless and the lonely
You don't have to leave

****************************

There's a candle in the window
See it's welcoming glow
Come in and sup with me
Don't walk alone in the snow
I think I may have a coat
To fit your tiny frame
I'm sure that our sizes
Are about the same

****************************

There's a candle in the window
For the man in despair
For the woman being abused
And not welcome anywhere
For the weary and the sick
Come into my light
Let not one person be alone
On this Christmas Eve night
